What is PruLink?
PruLink is a unit link product from Prudential, a knowned England-based company with more than 150 years of history and more than 10 years track record in Malaysia. What's so special about this unit link product is it gives the customer a n added benefit: investment profit in addition of it's life insurance benefit. In short, while it still gives you the benefits when something goes wrong, it will also creates a growth in your investment so you can take it and use it for your own benefit, such as pension plan, education plan, etc.
There are also some other benefits added in this product, such as crisis cover benefit, premium waiver, permanent disablement, accident death, spouse waiver, etc. which can be choosed when you apply for the insurance.
In short, it covers insurance for you for your death, it provides you some additional coverage such as premium waiver, accident, hospitalization, etc, and it also offers you some investment profit. What a wonderful world!
How it works?
The product is sold as a package with a life insurance product. That means, when you buy this product, some of the premium you paid will be allocated for your life insurance while the other part will be allocated to investment by the company's investment manager.
The most IMPORTANT thing in this product is the medical card. By this medical card you can admit into any private hospital which are in the list such as gleneagle, all KPJ's hospital and etc
